Topics covered

Javascript for Beginners: Basic Syntax, will help to make dynamic updates to a web application. Project-based course, you will learn how to use javascript to create a webpage front-end for a web application, manipulate the DOM, add and remove nodes, use event handlers, and functions. In order to be successful in this project, you will need some experience with IDE (Visual Studio Code), HTML, and CSS.

Course Format

Online private lessons that includes 1, 4, 8, or 12 lessons per month. Each lesson is one hour and led by an experienced, Ireland-based instructor, with age-appropriate curriculum. Sessions are held online via Zoom.

Here's a sample of what a week in this course could look like. Keep in mind students will progress at varying paces, and this is meant to serve as an outline of key materials and the overall experience.

Week 1

Students will start by learning about the basic syntax of the Javascript programming language including data types, variables, operators, conditional statements and loops

Week 2

Further to the learnings, the students get to explore making functional applications that work as solutions to real life problems.
