About the Course

Adobe After Effects is a digital visual effects, motion graphics, and compositing application developed by Adobe Inc.; it is used in the post-production process of film making, video games

Topics covered

Start learning the basics of Adobe After Effects in this complete introduction guide. This class does not cover boring technical stuff, but rather practical examples and real situations. By the end of the class, you'll have a complete fundamental understanding of Adobe After Effects and will be able to create your own visual effects and motion graphics.

Course Format

Online private lessons that includes 1, 4, 8, or 12 lessons per month. Each lesson is one hour and led by an experienced, Ireland-based instructor, with age-appropriate curriculum. Sessions are held online via Zoom.

Sample Schedule

Here's a sample of what a week in this course could look like. Keep in mind students will progress at varying paces, and this is meant to serve as an outline of key materials and the overall experience.

Week 1

The students will explore the User Interface and functionalities of the most important panels and learn about Masking and compositing.

Week 2

The students will further explore Blending and working with stock visuals, Tracking (Mask, Motion and Camera), Text and Shapes
